On October 28th, 2025, AACSB International President and CEO Lily Bi visited Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), accompanied by Guodong Xu, Region Head for East Asia, and Xiaoyue Yang, Membership Engagement Specialist. The delegation was warmly received by ACEM Dean Fangruo Chen and Associate Dean Xi Qu, along with International Office Director Phil Wang and Accreditation Supervisor Gia Sun.

Dean Chen extended a heartfelt welcome to President Bi and provided an overview of ACEM’s institutional history, development strategy, and key achievements in recent years. ACEM’s deep industry-academia integration captured significant interest from the AACSB delegation. President Bi remarked that ACEM’s industry-engaged research model represents a “Chinese solution” with global relevance and expressed eagerness to strengthen collaboration in advancing business education characterized by pragmatism and impact. President Bi further elaborated on AACSB’s strategic direction—evolving from traditional accreditation toward a multidimensional service ecosystem. As part of this vision, AACSB is actively advancing industry advocacy and thought leadership, with a strong emphasis on research impact development and leadership empowerment.

Dean Chen reaffirmed ACEM’s commitment to aligning with AACSB’s global standards while advancing its strategic focus on integrating international insights with local practice.
